Deal Alert AI ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Deal Alert AI web application. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Information We Collect
- Email address — provided by you during signup, used to send your daily digest.
- Search criteria — budget range, business type, and preferences you set during onboarding.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never store your card details.
- Usage data — basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance.
How We Use Your Information
- To send you your daily deal digest email.
- To filter and score Empire Flippers listings to your criteria using Claude AI (Anthropic).
- To process payments via Stripe.
- To respond to support requests sent to our email.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
AI Processing
Listing summaries and deal scores in your digest are generated using Claude AI, provided by Anthropic, PBC. Listing data is sourced from Empire Flippers' public API. AI-generated analysis is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial or investment advice.
Third-Party Services
- Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Anthropic Claude API — AI analysis. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
- Resend — email delivery. Subject to Resend's Privacy Policy.
- Railway — hosting. Subject to Railway's Privacy Policy.
- YouTube / Google APIs — Deal Alert AI uses the YouTube Data API v3 to publish video content to YouTube. Our use of YouTube API Services is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. We use OAuth 2.0 to authenticate with YouTube and only request permissions necessary to upload videos on our own channels. We do not access, store, or process any data from users' YouTube accounts.
YouTube API Data
Deal Alert AI uses YouTube API Services solely to upload programmatically generated short-form videos to our own YouTube channels (@DealAlertAI, @DealAlertAIOfficial). We do not read, collect, or store any data from third-party YouTube accounts. No YouTube user data is retained by Deal Alert AI. To revoke our access to YouTube API Services, you may visit Google Security Settings and remove Deal Alert AI from your authorized applications.
Data Retention
We retain your email and criteria for as long as your subscription is active. After cancellation, data is deleted within 30 days upon request to hello@dealalert.ai.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@dealalert.ai. EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing.
Cookies and Advertising
Deal Alert AI uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Functionality — basic session data stored in your browser for site functionality.
- Advertising — we use Google AdSense to display advertisements on this site. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- Third-party cookies — advertising partners including Google may use cookies to collect data about your browsing behavior. This data is used to display relevant advertisements. Children
Deal Alert AI is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
